How much does the ear wax removal cost?

We charge £40 for one ear or £60 for both.

To ensure the process of ear wax removal is safely carried out, it is important that the clinician is made aware of anything which may have a bearing on the procedure.
To make the procedure more comfortable and effective, it's essential to soften the wax beforehand. We recommend using olive oil in your ear two to three times a day for at least five days before your appointment. Apply enough oil until it overflows and leave it in for at least five minutes. This will make the wax easier to remove. If there are signs of infection, we will have to delay the ear wax removal procedure, until treatment is sought.

Depending on the severity of infection, our clinicians may be able to offer you treatment at the appointment. If this is not the case, then onward referral to a general practitioner or ENT clinician will be advised.
